Architecture of Hope

by Charles Jencks and Edwin Heathcote

Inspirational architecture is integral to Maggie's Centres. Our brief to architects is to create a space that is both uplifting and protective, in which people can find the strength to live with hope and joy in the face of a cancer diagnosis. 'The Architecture of Hope' explores the history of our centres and the architectural tradition to which they belong.

'Architecture and Health: a symposium' is being held to celebrate the publication of 'The Architecture of Hope'. See below for more information.
